Sebastian Conran

His background originally in industrial & product design, includes corporate identity and branding graphics; he has gained a reputation for his simple yet ingenious designs. By the time his design group merged with Conran & Partners in 1999 he had worked on re-branding big corporations, gained dozens of patents and received countless design awards.

Sebastian is experienced in a wide range of manufacturing techniques, especially those involving plastics and innovative mechanisms. His technical innovations and inventions have been involved in a wide variety of fields and his work has been widely acclaimed and awarded numerous design, marketing and innovation awards.

He has lectured design at the Royal College of Art, is a fellow of the RSA and Institute of Packaging, an elected member of CSD, a trustee of the Design Museum and the Conran Foundation, and an advisor to the Laura Ashley Foundation.
